Avatar 2nd Trailer redeems the movie

as well as tells you what this whole thing is about.  Great use of the soundtrack from “The Island.”  If you haven’t seen this one yet, it just might reboot the hype of this film.  Also just in case you forgot, this trailer gives you the director’s complete filmography, oh well, it works.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time trailer

has been recorded off UK TV.  Not officially out elsewhere yet.  Looks like it could be as fun as the “Mummy” franchise, with lots of winks to video gamers peppered in this trailer.

Nicole Kidman to star as the first male who underwent a sex change in ‘The Danish Girl’
From Tomas Alfredson, director of the indie vampire hit ‘Let The Right One In’ comes an adaptation of David Ebershoff’s book.  Period piece set in 1931 about the first man to receive a sex change operation.  And somehow he turns out looking like Nicole Kidman.  Wow.

Trailer for ‘Paranormal Activity,’ hailed as the next ‘Blair Witch’

The film was shot for $11,000 over the period of one week, for the most part with two actors in a house. Directed by first time writer/director Oren Peli, Paranormal Activity is inspired by Peli’s own experiences with strange noises after moving into a new house. The film centers around a young couple (played by Micah Sloat and Katie Featherstone) who learn that their house is haunted, and end up having increasingly disturbing experiences.

Looks really interesting, and genuinely creepy.

New ‘Stone’ Trailer

Edward Norton stars as a convicted arsonist who looks to manipulate a parole officer (Robert De Niro) into a plan to secure his parole by placing his beautiful wife (Mila Jovovich) in the lawman’s path.

Looks like another well acted dramatic Edward Norton movie.  I really liked his role in ‘American History X,’ and this one is bringing that hard criminal edge back.  Looking forward to it.
